Hike in petrol price by Rs7 proposed

 ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has proposed to raise the petrol price by means of Rs7 and High Speed Diesel by way of Rs8 according to liter from September 1.

Ogra has forwarded its proposals to the Petroleum Division on this issue, according to Geo News properties. It has also recommended to extend prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel.Ogra has suggested an increase in the petroleum levy at Rs30 per liter which is currently below Rs26 for each petrol and diesel.
