LAHORE: NAB Lahore has expanded the scope of investigations in illegal land transfer cases against the Sharif family. NAB Lahore has begun collecting data from modifications in the Lahore master plan that gave the Sharif family advantages.
According to sources, the grasp plan was introduced in 2004. However, it was once amended in 2013 through a notification by the Lahore District Council and residential spaces of Raiwind tehsil were converted into agricultural land. The NAB has requested the folks affected through the notification, those that owned land or nonetheless have been the owners, to put up the report to the NAB inside 30 days.
As some distance as the main points of the case were involved, the NAB has accused the Sharif family of transferring of masses of kanals of land in Raiwind thru unlawful way. The NAB had alleged that a minimum of 1,440 kanals ie 180 acres were transferred to PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz in 2013 when a total of 3,568 kanals used to be transferred in the name of the Sharif circle of relatives.
